Introduction to 3D Printing for Technology Subjects

A workshop has been organised by the DCG TPN to be held on Thursday the 12th of Feburary, in Athlone Education Centre., from 6.30-9.30 pm.

This workshop is an introduction to 3D printing for DCG, Technology, Engineering and Construction Studies. The evening will cover: using 3D printing software, converting SolidWorks files, setup and use of 3D printer. Teachers will complete a CAD design task that will be manufactured using the

3D printer afterwards.

NOTE: Teachers must be proficient in the use of SolidWorks to fully partake in this course.

(Please bring your own laptop with SolidWorks installed)
